Republic Act No. 8759 otherwise known as the Public Employment Services Office Act of 199 as Amended by Republic Act No. 10691 which was approved on October 26, 2015 with Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Department Order No. 157-16 series of 2016 on its IRR; conveys that the state shall provide full employment and quality of employment opportunities for all, for this purpose, strengthen and expand the existing employment facilitation service machinery of the government particularly at the local levels.
